On August 8, 2023, Missy will be following her passion in the pursuit of fighting human trafficking. As a mother of three girls, it's her passion to advocate for young girls just like her own being sold for sex. In 2014 she co-founded a nonprofit, Blue Heart International fighting sex trafficking. She has raised over 3 million dollars to help raise awareness, assist in advocating and housing three homes for women being trafficked. She worked on the streets fighting sex trafficking from 9pm to 2am in the morning. She feels with the title of Ms. Petite USA will open more doors for her to speak at high schools across the nation in which 1 out 5 children are targeted on social media here in the USA.
